FINRA margin debit balances

Official monthly debit balances in customers' securities margin accounts under FINRA Rule 4521(d), and their 15-month rate of change. The 60% greed line is a Kizemchuk heuristic: RoC rolling back below 60% has historically clustered near major market tops. That is not a validated composite input — the indicator is registered at weight 0 pending IC. This is not FINRA Reg SHO short volume (the dark-pool tape).

FINRA margin debit — 15-month RoC

Monthly FINRA Rule 4521(d) debit balances in customers' securities margin accounts. The 15-month rate of change is a leverage / speculation proxy. A drop back below 60% is the (unvalidated) top-cluster heuristic. Not FINRA Reg SHO short volume.
