Matrix
Finviz-style breadth grid. Toggle S&P 500 or a Russell universe. Each name with a price and market cap is an equal-sized tile, grouped by GICS sub-industry (rows) and market-cap tier (columns). Industry and sector rows are ordered by median return over the selected window, strongest at the top — 1d when you open the page. Names missing a sub-industry sit in Unclassified. Color is price return over the selected window. YTD is measured from the prior year's final close. This is the attribution layer next to Map, which sizes boxes by cap — here every name gets the same visual weight, so you can see whether a move is a handful of mega-caps or is spreading down the cap stack. S&P columns stay on the FINVIZ cuts. A Russell universe uses a tighter mid and small stack ($5–10B, $2–5B, $1–2B, $300M–$1B) so those names do not sit in one column. Clusters size circles by cap inside the same grouping. Hover a tile for name, industry, and last price; click through to the stock page.
